… Mrs Rose Ekong also bags Ambassador of Light Award

Distinguished Senators Godswill Akpabio, Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA) representing Akwa Ibom North West (Ikot Ekpene) , North East (Uyo) Senatorial Districts were among personalities honoured by The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Uyo Field last Sunday conferred with the Ambassador of Light Award during the 2017 Public Officers Thanksgiving and Appreciation Service which was held at the Uyo Field Temple of the church, 61 Obio Imo Street, Uyo.
The service, which is the third in the series; the maiden edition took place in June 2004 and the second on the 24th of April, 2016 aimed at identifying and celebrating all distinguished sons and daughters of the church in positions of authority and those who have excelled in their chosen careers .
Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) was represented at the occasion by Mr Daniel Udoh (North South), Chairman of his Constituency office Steering Committee, thanked the church for the honour done his principal assuring that he will convey the best wishes of the church to him.
The event according to the Church is divinely inspired and fulfilling the biblical injunction that promotion comes from God and that honour should be given to whom it is due.
Mrs Rose Ekong was among those on Sunday conferred with AMBASSADOR OF LIGHT award by the Uyo Field Council of The Apostolic Church Nigeria. The church described the award as well deserved because she has contributed tremendously to the building of the church and humanity and prayed God Almighty to continue to enrich her years on earth so as to continue to be a blessing to the Church and humanity.
Those were also conferred with Ambassador light Award included Deaconess Nene Ekere and the event attracted many faithful.
